The Kenyan government plans to construct more expressways along key transport corridors to alleviate traffic congestion and boost investment. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is recruiting a consultant to develop a master plan for an expressway network. Currently, the country has only one operational expressway, the Nairobi Expressway, and a 236-kilometer toll road project is underway.
