Kenya Records 11.1 Billion Cyber Threats in 2025/26 Financial Year - CA Report

Kenya recorded over 11.1 billion cyber threats in the 2025/26 financial year, a 29% increase from the previous year. Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks accounted for over 72 million incidents, rising by 114.3%, but sharply declined by 90% in the last quarter. Other cyber threats, including malware and web application attacks, also saw significant increases, with vulnerabilities remaining the largest category of threats.
