Kenya, Uganda Push to Remove Travel Barriers, Lower Airfares

Kenya and Uganda are working to make travel between the two countries cheaper and easier due to high airfares and cross-border barriers. A low-cost carrier is set to resume daily flights between Nairobi and Entebbe starting October 1, 2026, with fares expected to start at Ksh22,950. This initiative could boost tourism and trade, with a significant increase in the number of travelers between the two countries.
