Laboratory results from a Kenyan patient suspected of Ebola have come back negative, according to Wajir County's governor. The 20-year-old man, who traveled from the Democratic Republic of the Congo via Uganda to Kenya, shows no signs of Ebola. Kenya reported its first Ebola case on Tuesday after a citizen who traveled from DRC died in Nairobi. The Ebola outbreak, caused by the Bundibugyo strain, has spread widely in eastern DRC with over 4,205 deaths out of more than 8,700 cases, and had previously affected Uganda, which was declared Ebola-free in July.
