The Kenyan government has set a new deadline for taxpayers to file their income tax returns, now due by April 30, 2027. Additionally, former Mathioya MP Peter Kimari has been elected as the Murang’a branch chairperson of the Jubilee Party. The national government has also signed a Deed of Cooperation with Mombasa County to develop the Mombasa Special Economic Zone, which is expected to create over 70,000 jobs.
