Kenya’s Mitchelle top of global tourism contest

Mitchelle Apiyo Otieno, a 23-year-old student from Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, was crowned Miss Tourism Global 2025/2026 at a contest in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. Before becoming a model, she was Miss Environment in 2022, serving as an ambassador for environmental awareness. Her journey began modestly, but she gradually gained confidence and recognition in the fashion world.
