On October 25, Dakar’s vice and juvenile brigade uncovered an alleged organized prostitution operation in a furnished apartment in Keur Massar, rented for 140,000 FCFA a month. The investigation followed the discovery of advertisements on Facebook and neexna.com, after which police infiltrated the operation. Clients allegedly paid 10,000 FCFA for two sessions, with as many as ten clients a day; officers seized five phones, condoms and lubricant. Three men, D. Dia, 24, P. Ndiaye, 25, and M. Ba, 24, were referred to the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor’s office on suspicion of pimping and organized prostitution.
