Kidnappers abduct six people in Kaduna

Suspected kidnappers abducted about six people early Tuesday at Nuru Suraj Estate in Millennium City, Kaduna State. Resident Maman Hamid said the attackers entered through the estate’s second gate; military personnel pursued them and rescued some victims, while the kidnappers escaped. The number rescued and the whereabouts of the others were unknown at the time of publication. The attack renewed residents’ concerns following other kidnappings in the area and the October 12 arrest of eight suspected kidnappers and four alleged informants.
