Kiev: Head of SBU Targeted by Russian Drone Escapes Death, Zelensky Promises Retaliation

Ukrainian intelligence chief Oleksandr Poklad escaped a Russian drone attack that struck the headquarters of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kiev, injuring five people. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the drone specifically targeted Poklad's office and ordered an appropriate response to the attack. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga described the strike as a serious escalation and called on the international community to condemn the attack. Russian strikes, which had primarily been nocturnal, have intensified during the day with the use of faster drones.
