Kindu: two bodies of motorcycle-taxi drivers found, city in shock after clashes with security forces

Kindu, the capital of Maniema province, experienced clashes on Saturday after two motorcycle-taxi drivers' bodies were discovered. The drivers were protesting the death of one of their colleagues, reportedly killed by a soldier from the FARDC during an operation on a construction site belonging to an air force major. Authorities found the bodies on the major’s property, along with a motorcycle and abandoned weapon, and are investigating the exact circumstances.
