King’s College crisis: Alausa, unions begin fresh talks

The Federal Government and labor unions began talks to resolve the crisis over the proposed new administrative arrangement for King’s College, Lagos. Education Minister Dr. Tunji Alausa assured affected workers that they would retain their status as civil servants. Unions, including the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), opposed the term 'concessioning' and sought clarification on the government's intentions.
