King’s College Lagos concessioned to old boys’ association

The Federal Ministry of Education has directed that King’s College, Lagos, be concessioned to the King’s College Old Boys Association (KCOBA), with the handover process to commence immediately. PTA Chairman Engr. Peter Oluwaleye stated that a transition committee is to be formed to oversee the process, which should be completed within six months. However, staff unions responded by shutting down the college, warning that the strike could spread nationwide if the ministry does not provide a favorable response.
