Kinshasa: 11 microprojects launched to prevent youth violence

The Congolese Ministry of Planning, with technical support from UNOPS, launched 11 community microprojects in Kinshasa, particularly in the districts of Masina and Ngaliema. These initiatives aim to strengthen social cohesion, promote socio-economic inclusion of youth, and prevent juvenile violence by creating educational spaces and vocational centers. Daniel Epembe emphasized that these projects help young people become active agents of peace and social cohesion, while UNOPS highlighted the importance of investing in youth support to prevent marginalization.
