The Military Court of Tshopo-Uele convicted six police officers for contempt of court and failure to assist persons in danger, while two others were acquitted. The convicted, including three officers, received six months of penal servitude and fines up to 230,000 FC. The offenses occurred during an altercation with Prosecutor Ikobia Aaron, who was also a civil party in the trial.
