KMPDC Warns Doctors, Health Facilities Over Misuse of Professional Credentials

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) has warned doctors against allowing others to use their professional credentials for healthcare approvals or payments, risking disciplinary action and civil or criminal liability. Doctors could be held personally responsible if their registration numbers or licenses are misused. KMPDC also cautioned health facilities against facilitating such misuse, which could lead to regulatory sanctions.
