Kogi INEC, security agencies review plans for 2027 polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies in Kogi State have intensified collaboration to ensure peaceful and credible presidential and National Assembly elections in 2027. Police Commissioner CP Nasir Kankarfi announced that security measures would be implemented and political parties would be engaged to avoid violence and hate speech. INEC Chairman Shehu Wahab emphasized the importance of coordination with security agencies and the role of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in transporting electoral materials.
