Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) expelled six students for rewriting an examination at a lecturer's residence. The case emerged on July 1, 2026, leading to the arrest of Dr. Maji Okpanachi and some students. The expelled students, all first-year students in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, reportedly paid 10,000 Naira each for the misconduct. Additionally, nine other students were withdrawn for academic reasons.
