Kongo-Central: Songololo administrator denies presence of suspicious people at Joseph Kabila’s farm in Kiasungwa
Songololo administrator Évariste Kazadi Mukeba said on Saturday, October 31, that no suspicious people of Rwandan origin had been found at Joseph Kabila’s farm in Kiasungwa, in the Kimpese sector. A commission that visited the property with members of the local security committee found no evidence to support the claims. Kazadi Mukeba urged residents to remain calm and avoid spreading false information, while calling on security forces and young volunteers to increase their vigilance. He also noted that population movements in Songololo usually rise in October, November and December, especially toward the town of Lufu.
