Kosovo approves new government after months of political deadlock

Kosovo's parliament has approved a new government led by acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, ending three months of government paralysis. The new government was backed by 62 lawmakers out of 120. Kurti now needs opposition support to elect a president, or snap elections may be required. The political crisis is exacerbated by Kurti's hardline approach towards Serbia, which has alienated some of his traditional supporters.
