Kousséri: Body of a 14-year-old boy recovered after drowning

A 14-year-old boy was found drowned in Kousséri after falling from a bridge. The search conducted by the Kousséri Firefighters led to the recovery of his body on September 15, 2026. The remains were handed over to the Kousséri Gendarmerie before being transferred to the morgue of the Regional Hospital Annex of Kousséri. This tragic incident highlights the numerous drowning cases in the Extreme-North, especially during the rainy season.
