As de la Palme 2026: Koffi Barré Réné Named Best Oil Palm Grower

Koffi Barré René, a grower in Ehania in the Aboisso region, won the 2026 As de la Palme grand prize at the Growers’ Day held in San Pedro on October 24. Minister Bruno Nabagné Koné announced his victory over Kaba Doubassi, representing the Centre region, and Cavally candidate Koné Brahima. For the 10th edition, the jury chaired by Laetitia Ohouo Lath assessed yields, plantation maintenance, farming practices, social considerations, environmental protection, and traceability.
