KRA Announces New eTIMS-IFMIS Integration for Government Suppliers

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) announced the successful integration of the Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS) with the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS). This integration, undertaken in collaboration with the National Treasury, aims to enhance transparency and tax compliance for businesses transacting with the government. Suppliers are now required to generate valid eTIMS invoices before submitting payment requests through IFMIS, with any discrepancies potentially delaying payment processing.
