KRA Confirms eTIMS and TIMS Invoices Are Accepted for Government Payments

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) confirmed that government suppliers can submit valid tax invoices generated through either eTIMS or TIMS in the IFMIS system. In a notice issued on October 15, KRA said the integration with IFMIS, developed with the National Treasury, supports validation of invoices from both platforms. Invoices must meet required validation standards before they proceed to payment. KRA and the Treasury will continue assisting businesses and government agencies with implementation and use of the system.
