KRA to crack down on firms with unremitted workers' pensions

The Kenya Revenue Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, will empower the tax authority to collect unremitted pension contributions from employers, using measures like bank account freezes and asset seizures. Unremitted pension contributions stood at Sh66.41 billion at the end of December 2025.
