Kremlin says European countries not included in next Ukraine talks

Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said European countries would not take part in the next round of Ukraine talks with the United States, planned for Abu Dhabi. He said their possible participation was not discussed during a 90-minute call between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store. Stubb gave a different account, saying Europeans would be involved in November’s talks, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced trilateral talks from November 6 to 10 and called for Europe to participate. During Zelenskyy’s visit to the Netherlands, Prime Minister Rob Jetten pledged an additional 500 million euros in military support this winter, including funds for drones.
