Krépin Diatta’s return to Senegal’s national team in doubt

Krépin Diatta left the field in the 14th minute of Watford’s Championship match against Middlesbrough on Saturday after feeling pain in the 11th minute. Recently recalled by Senegal coach Patrick Vieira after joining Watford in early October, the winger is among the 25 players selected for matches against Sudan on November 12 and 16. His availability is now in doubt, with Senegal already missing Mamadou Sarr. The medical staff must establish the nature of Diatta’s injury and how long he will be unavailable.
