KTA Warns of Paralyzing Fuel Shortages Amid Looming Fare Hikes

The Kenya Transporters Association (KTA) has warned that fuel shortages are crippling truck operations across the country, threatening a national logistics crisis. KTA formally wrote to the government demanding immediate intervention due to issues of fuel rationing and the withdrawal of credit facilities by oil marketing companies. The association is also calling for transparency on the true status of national fuel stocks and clear directives to restore normal bulk supply to transporters.
