Kwara APC: Oba leads peace committee to reconcile aggrieved members

Prof. Oba AbdulRaheem, former vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin, is leading the Kwara APC Peace Committee to reconcile members aggrieved by the party primaries and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 general elections. The committee held its inaugural meeting on September 17 at his residence in Ilorin and includes figures such as Johnson Adewumi, Issa Bio Ibrahim, AbdulGaniyu Cook Olododo and Raheem Adedoyin. It says it has contacted political leaders and influential stakeholders to encourage unity and promote the administrations of President Bola Tinubu and Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. The committee is also canvassing support for APC governorship candidate Yakubu Danladi and the party’s other candidates in the state.
