Kwara Police clarify detention of minor

The Kwara State Police Command dismissed claims of unlawful detention of a minor in Arandun community. According to a statement, the incident arose from a case of housebreaking and theft reported on April 30, 2026. The suspect's 16-year-old sister was taken into custody for aiding him in evading arrest but was later released after being cautioned and having her statement recorded.
