Kwilu: A series of fires strikes Bulungu, at least 20 homes burned in Eyana, Matu, and Ngwari Ngwari

A series of fires devastated three villages in the Dwe sector of Bulungu territory, destroying at least 20 homes. In Eyana, 16 houses, two pharmacies, and two mills were burned, while in Matu and Ngwari Ngwari, a school and four homes were also affected. The vice-governor of Kwilu, Professor Espoir Massamanki, stated that these fires are linked to bushfires and that an investigation is underway to determine their causes.
