Cancer patient told she will get drug which could make her life longer

Patients in England with a specific type of incurable breast cancer can now access Enhertu on the NHS, a drug that can extend their lives by almost seven months on average. Kate Wills, 51, who has HER2-low metastatic breast cancer, expresses her joy and relief upon hearing the news. The drug has been available in Scotland since 2023 and in 26 other European countries, with Wales expected to follow soon.
