Lagos 2027: Jandor steps down as APC backs Hamzat

Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has withdrawn from the Lagos governorship race for 2027, backing the APC's consensus candidate, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat. Jandor stated that his decision is driven by respect for party cohesion and unity, following Hamzat's endorsement by President Bola Tinubu and other party leaders. Former governor Akinwunmi Ambode also endorsed Hamzat, emphasizing his commitment to the party's ideals.
