Lagos 2027: Rhodes-Vivour questions Hamzat’s eligibility over US allegiance

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, questioned Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat's eligibility for the 2027 governorship election, citing his alleged allegiance to the United States. He mentioned that his legal team had relied on this allegiance to challenge Hamzat's qualification during the 2023 elections. Rhodes-Vivour also criticized the conduct of the 2023 elections, alleging incidents of violence and intimidation across the state.
