Lagos Coastal Road: Concerned citizen alleges clash between FG, Lagos officials

Ismaila Alimi, a concerned citizen from Eti-Osa, alleged that officials of the Lagos State Government, under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, are attempting to obstruct the activities of a Federal Government Task Force responsible for recovering and protecting federal properties. Alimi stated that on September 4, 2026, state officials, accompanied by a substantial police contingent, visited sites in Victoria Island and Eti-Osa to intimidate Task Force personnel. He also mentioned that these officials returned on September 7 to forcibly enter properties and erect real estate billboards despite the presence of the Federal Task Force.
