Lagos demolishes illegal structures under high-tension lines

The Lagos State Government has commenced the controlled demolition of shanties and other unauthorized structures located beneath high-tension electricity lines in the Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area. This intervention followed a communal clash that reportedly claimed the lives of four adult men and left several others injured. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) coordinated the operation, highlighting the safety hazards posed by these informal settlements to residents.
