Lagos: Festac residents plan protest over alleged FHA fence demolition

Residents of Festac Town in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos have announced plans for a peaceful protest against the alleged demolition of sections of the estate's perimeter fence by the FHA. They claim the affected fence is part of a public reserve crucial for electricity infrastructure. Valentine Uduebo, president of Bring Back Festac, urged for peace while condemning the FHA's actions, which have also led to reports of unlawful extortion.
