Lagos unveils three-year HIV prevention, treatment strategic plan

Lagos State has launched its 2025-2027 HIV Strategic Plan aimed at strengthening prevention, testing, treatment, and care while addressing gaps in its HIV response. Dr. Folakemi Animashaun, CEO of the Lagos State AIDS Control Agency, emphasized the importance of collaboration among government agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations. The plan seeks to achieve measurable outcomes by 2027, focusing on underserved populations and improving access to treatment.
