Lagos urges motorists to plan journeys as Kara bridge repairs begin

The Lagos State Government has urged motorists to plan their journeys as repair works begin on damaged expansion joints at Kara Bridge. The repairs on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway section are scheduled to start on Tuesday, according to Transportation Commissioner Oluwaseun Osiyemi. One half of the affected section will be closed at a time to minimize traffic impact, and motorists will share the remaining open half throughout the two-week rehabilitation period.
