Lagosians warned against use of rusty, poorly fabricated pepper-grinding machines

The Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) warned operators of pepper grinding machines against using rusty or poorly fabricated equipment, as it could contaminate food and pose health risks. LASCOPA's General Manager, Afolabi Solebo, emphasized the need to replace traditional machines with stainless-steel equipment. The agency will intensify compliance checks to ensure food safety standards are met.
