Lakhdar Belloumi credits his son Bachir’s progress to hard work and the effort he has put in since unsuccessful trials in France. The 24-year-old Algeria international has scored three goals and provided two assists in eight appearances for Hull City, and returned to the national team in September after a three-year absence. His comeback included goals against Burundi and Niger.
