LaLiga: Why Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1, according to Mourinho

José Mourinho’s Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 on Sunday, with Kylian Mbappé scoring twice and Raphinha netting for Barça. The win leaves Madrid three points behind the LaLiga champions. Mourinho praised his players’ bravery in building up against Barcelona’s high press and their composure after the equalizer, while admitting that failing to score a second goal to extend the lead was dangerous. Madrid next visit Racing Santander in the league before travelling to face AEK Athens in the Champions League.
