Land Fraud: Khady Diagne Admits Creating Fake Documents

Khady Diagne was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Division and referred to prosecutors in connection with two disputed land transactions involving an estimated total loss of 73,590,000 FCFA. P. Diallo accuses her of owing him 24,090,000 FCFA after offering two plots in the Cité Mourtada and providing documents he considered irregular; he says he paid 36 million FCFA and received 11,910,000 FCFA back. A second complainant, F. Cissé, alleges similar wrongdoing involving 49,500,000 FCFA. According to the case file, Diagne admitted to some of the alleged acts.
