LASUTH doctors give Lagos govt 7-day ultimatum to pay allowances, arrears

The Association of Resident Doctors at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH-ARD) has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Lagos State Government to implement the specialist allowance for grade level 14 doctors and settle outstanding salary and promotion arrears. The doctors warned that failure to act could lead to further measures and increased risk of industrial unrest. Despite Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's approval of the Professional Allowance Table, the allowance for Senior Registrar 1 was not included, disappointing the association.
