President Félix Tshisekedi met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha on April 2, 2026. This visit, described as a gesture of solidarity by the Congolese embassy, addressed the situation in the Middle East, particularly the Iranian aggression. Tshisekedi also reaffirmed the DRC's commitment to respecting international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.
