European and Arab military chiefs are meeting in Paris to assess the needs of the Lebanese Armed Forces and discuss the impending end of the UN peacekeeping mission, UNIFIL. The talks, chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, come after several rounds of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon.
