Lebanon war victims among 117M people displaced worldwide

Germany injects 3 million Euros towards Ebola response efforts in the East African Community

Germany has injected 3 million Euros into the Ebola response in East Africa, where the outbreak has killed nearly 140 people in DR Congo and reached 676 cases. This funding is part of a total 8 million Euro health commitment to the region, including a 5 million Euro partnership with KfW Development Bank to strengthen health systems against Mpox and other infectious diseases. The agreement was signed by EAC Secretary General Stephen Mbundi and KfW Country Director Vanessa Eidt, with German Chargé d'Affaires Manuel Müller in attendance. Germany will also provide 500 sets of PPE for frontline health workers.
