Pope Léon XI appointed Monsignor Paul Nyanga as apostolic administrator of the diocese of Edéa on June 4, 2026, following the resignation of Monsignor Jean Ntep. Prior to this, Mgr. Nyanga served as Secretary General of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon. As apostolic administrator, he will oversee the pastoral, administrative, and spiritual leadership of the diocese until a permanent appointment is made.
