'Let's not seek change for sake of change,' Oba of Benin backs continuity

The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, urged opposition parties not to be overly critical of the ruling party but to fulfill their role for the country's betterment. During a visit from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, he emphasized the importance of continuity in governance. The Oba also called for cooperation between the ruling party and the opposition, stating that the throne is not partisan.
