Liberia: IMF Approves $266 Million for Liberia As Economy Grows At Fastest Pace in Years

The International Monetary Fund approved a $266 million financing package for Liberia, the largest multilateral support since President Joseph Nyuma Boakai took office. Liberia's economy grew by 5.1 percent in 2025, driven mainly by mining sector expansion.
