Libya: Heavy rains paralyze Tripoli

Heavy rains flooded the streets of Tripoli on Tuesday, resulting in the electrocution death of a bank employee trying to enter the Jumhouria bank headquarters, as floodwaters submerged electrical boxes. Authorities ordered emergency operations to drain the water, and the perimeter road was closed. Videos show cars being filled with water and the central hospital flooded with water entering the corridors. The national meteorological center had forecast these heavy rains and issued a warning for vulnerable areas.
